For more than 80 years, Drs. Roush & Will Optometrists has proudly served families throughout northeast Indiana with a commitment to exceptional eye care, trusted relationships, and community connection.

Our story began in 1946 when Dr. Robert Roush opened a solo optometry practice in downtown Kendallville after serving in the United States Navy. Built on a foundation of compassionate care and personal relationships, the practice quickly became a trusted part of the community.

In 1973, the practice expanded when Dr. Richard Roush joined his father after serving in the United States Army. That same year, an additional office was opened in Albion, allowing the practice to care for even more families throughout the region. The practice continued to grow in 1979 with the addition of Dr. Alan Roush, further strengthening the family tradition of optometry and patient-centered care.

Over the decades, Drs. Roush & Will has continued to evolve while remaining grounded in the values it was founded on — integrity, innovation, and personalized attention.

Today, the practice proudly represents three generations of the Roush family in optometry, with Dr. Elizabeth Roush continuing the family legacy alongside a dedicated team of doctors and staff.

Together, they combine advanced technology, comprehensive medical eye care, and a carefully curated optical experience to serve patients of all ages.
